Q: Where can I sign up to receive updates and communication?
A: Please fill out our volunteer application. Our volunteer coordinator will be in touch shortly with more details!
Q: Where do I go?
A: If you have signed up for a movie night or other opportunity, our volunteer coordinator will be in touch with details. We also provide the location on every sign up page!
Q: How long are the commitments?
A: This depends on what event you are signing up for. For example, volunteers are most needed at our movie nights. Movie nights begin one hour before sunset and will end depending on movie length. We usually ask that you make sure to check your signup sheet for this information!
Q: Do I have to fill out a waiver?
A: Yes, we require you to fill out a waiver before any volunteer commitment!
Q: What would I be doing as a volunteer?
A: Volunteers can play many roles at an event, our most common roles are helping with setup and takedown, helping with the canteen, customer support, and setup of pre-show activities.
(If you ever feel uncomfortable in a role, let us know so we can create a task to better utilize your skills!)
Q: Do volunteers get discounts?
A: Yes, volunteers receive a discount of 50% on items from our canteen (excluding popcorn).
